OPD Camp Patient-Profile Sheet
Introduced a structured patient-profile sheet so TBMs could give doctors organised information during OPD camps.
Problem
Make OPD camps more meaningful and useful for participating doctors. Structured information turns a camp from a promotional event into something that supports the doctor's consultation.
My role
- Introduced a patient-profile sheet for OPD camps.
- Defined the fields captured: blood pressure, weight, BMI, blood sugar and relevant patient history.
What I did
Replaced unstructured camp records with a standard sheet that TBMs complete for each patient, so doctors receive the same set of information every time.
Result
OPD camp activity increased by 50%, and TBMs could give doctors organised patient information during camps for better follow-up.
What I learned
Simple tools get used. A short, one-page sheet worked better than a detailed form because it took the TBM very little time to fill in. Capturing patient information at the camp also made the follow-up conversation with the doctor much more specific.
